Abuja's Most Wanted Kidnapper, Dahiru Adamu, Apprehended Following Nyesom Wike's ₦‎20 Million Bounty Offer

In a significant breakthrough for law enforcement, Dahiru Adamu, the notorious individual wanted for multiple kidnappings in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has been successfully apprehended. This apprehension comes mere days after FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, issued a ₦20 million bounty on Adamu and another individual known as Abu Ibrahim.

Adamu and Ibrahim have been identified as key figures in a series of violent incidents plaguing the nation’s capital, including abductions and homicides. Their capture marks a pivotal moment in the efforts to curb such criminal activities.

Confirmation of Adamu’s arrest was provided by SP Josephine Adeh, the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, who disclosed that the arrest occurred during a raid conducted by FCT Command operatives on Thursday. The operation targeted two kidnappers’ camps situated on the border between Nasarawa and the FCT, in the vicinity of Kuje Area Council.

Adamu, believed to be the ringleader of the kidnapping syndicate recently apprehended by the Police Command and paraded on Wednesday, was taken into custody during the raid. This successful operation underscores the dedication of law enforcement agencies to safeguarding citizens and combating organized crime in the region.
