Games Village Abuja is situated within the kaura district of abuja. It was originally conceived as a well-developed district to house athletes who participated in the 2003 Commonwealth Games.

Elegant and tranquil estate. There are ample green spaces and adequate spacing between houses. The roads are well constructed with ample parking space, speed bumps and speed warning signs. Multiple enterprises are located on the estate, making it nearly self-sufficient. It is an ideal location for family living.

CCECC Limited constructed the estate for the 8th All Africa Games (COJA 2003) held in Abuja. The Estate features an abundance of municipal infrastructure, including mains electricity, water, communications, a central sewage system, and a network of beautifully paved roadways. It is primarily residential, comprised of detached and semi-detached Houses, Bungalows, Blocks of Flats, and a few commercial establishments, including approximately 590 main houses and 400 boys’ quarters.

The Estate is in close proximity to the National Stadium, Abuja City gate, and Kaura Modern Market, which offers a vast selection of shops, restaurants, and amusement for all ages. It provides convenient access to Area 1, Apo, the Gudu area, and Lugbe. The short 25-minute journey to Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport is an added bonus.

Games Village seeks to provide its occupants with a high-quality, secure, and harmonious environment and way of life. The Estate features expansive landscaped park areas with playgrounds, paved walkways, picnic areas, and gazebos. Evening use of parks and walkways is made more accessible for walkers and joggers by the addition of accent lighting. Other amenities include a fire station, a police station, a medical center, schools, a crèche, a church, a mosque, a supermarket, pharmacies, a football field, a tennis court, and a relaxation lounge, among others.

Security is of the utmost importance at Games Village, where police and estate security patrol jointly 24 hours a day. The estate has a patrol vehicle specifically designed to respond to emergencies. In addition to being proficient in the field of security, the Security team has also assisted with medical and minor fire emergencies on the Estate.
