National Defence College Organizes Project Management Course for Military and Security Officers. Rear Adm. Olumuyiwa Olotu, the Commandant of the National Defence College (NDC), emphasized the critical importance of enhancing the management capacity of military officers for national security. Speaking at the commencement of a 3-Day Project Management Course in Abuja, organized by NDC Konsult, Rear Adm. Olotu highlighted the necessity for efficient resource and project management skills among senior officers in the military and other security agencies.
He underscored the significance of equipped management capacity, asserting that it not only minimizes operational costs but also aligns with the vision and mission of their respective organizations.
The course, he noted, is designed to equip participants with the essential skills in leading project teams and ensuring exceptional project outcomes. Rear Adm. Olotu emphasized the contemporary relevance of project management expertise in optimizing resources, particularly in the face of scarcity, emphasizing its role in delivering value for money.
